This close supervision ensures a top-quality product that will provide a lifetime of comfort and satisfaction.

When it comes time to turn your plans into reality, we believe in using only the finest kiln-dried logs. But probably no step is more important than the first-preparing the logs that Honest Abe will use to build your new home. We start by selecting only the highest quality Eastern White Pine. To minimize movement, shrinkage and settling in the timbers over time, we combine natural air-drying and kiln-drying in the manufacturing of every single Honest Abe timber. Our customers’ complete satisfaction is vital to us.

Skilled craftsmen provide Honest Abe’s dry-in service. Once you have constructed your foundation and arranged for the availability of electricity at your site, our skilled craftsmen will complete the following: first floor framing and subfloor, set the log or timber frame package, set the ceiling beam system, set the roof system, erect the gable ends, install soffits, fascia and dormer trim, install exterior doors and windows, rough-in the interior stud walls and stairs, and construct porches and decks.
